MIGRATION CARD

All foreign citizens must have a migration card when staying within the territory of the Russian Federation.
Upon entry to the territory of the Russian Federation you will be given the Migration Card form. Please fill it in and pass to the officer at the border. The frontier guard will stamp your Migration card and tear off the stub. The stamp in the migration card is quite the same with a stamp in your passport.
You shall present your Migration Card when registering your visa in Russia.

When leaving the territory of Russia you shall hand over the Migration card to the frontier guard. When you come to Russia next time, you will be given a new Migration card form to fill in.
