CHECK YOUR VISA
Upon receipt of your visa at the Consulate please immediately check if it is filled in correctly. Sometimes the officers at the Consulate may make mistakes when issuing a visa; this mistakes can cause very serious problems. If you have found a mistake in your visa, apply immediately to the consulate co correct it. Mistakes in visa can result in different delays, penalties and even to prohibition to enter Russia; in the latter case you will have t buy a ticket home for your own expenses.
Together with a visa you will be given an arrival/departure card. You will have to show it to the frontier officers upon arrival and departure. We recommend to staple it to the passport.
If you have a multiple entry visa, you should make copies of this card for your every visit to Russia.
