VISA FOR A FAMILY MEMBER
If during your visit to Russia you are accompanied by close relatives, they can apply for a special "Accompanying family member" visa type. This type of visa is normally issued on the basis of your Visa Invitation together with your visa.
As a rule, this type of visa is issued in case of long-term stay of one of the family members in Russia; the latter normally holds a Business visa, Working visa or some other kinds of visas.
Period of stay in Russia: less or equals the period of the "main" visa.
Visa Invitation: the same one with the invitation for the "main" visa. In case if you experience problems in obtaining an "Accompanying family member" visa type we recommend to apply for another type of visa.
